Origins
FAILE (anagram "A Life") born 1999 Brooklyn from Patrick McNeil (1975 Edmonton) & Patrick Miller (1976 Minneapolis) collaboration. Street beginnings with stencils/wheatpasting NYC.
Current situation
From illegal street art to international galleries (Tate Modern, MoMA), FAILE develops sculptural installations, prayer wheels, multimedia works critiquing consumer society.
Place of residence
Brooklyn, NY - permanent studio since 2005.
Graphic style and media
Torn collages, silkscreen, wood/sculptures, window pallets. Pop/punk aesthetic blending comics, vintage ads, visual propaganda.
