"La première fresque d’Invader a été réalisée sur l’hôpital de la Pitié-Salpêtrière. L’artiste a profité du caractère légal de ce projet en créant l’une des plus grandes œuvres de sa carrière. Selon lui « Vu sa taille et son emplacement il aurait été impossible de la réaliser sans y être autorisé. Elle entre donc dans la catégorie que j’appelle mon 1% légal. ». Il a choisi de représenter Dr House, un personnage qu’il apprécie particulièrement, en s’inspirant du lieu. Néanmoins, il n’oublie pas son mythique Space Invader, qu’il introduit discrètement en haut de cette fresque.
Invader’s first mural was executed on Pitié-Salpêtrière hospital. The artist took advantage of the legality of this project to create one of the largest work of his career. In his own words, “It’s difficult to do it unofficially because it takes longer.” He chose to portray Dr House, one of his favourite characters, taking his inspiration from the site.
