"Cette fresque s’inscrit pleinement dans l’œuvre de VHILS, à travers sa technique surprenante consistant, non pas à ajouter de la matière, mais à la retirer afin de révéler une image. Ici, il a fait le choix de représenter le portrait d’un homme, en se focalisant sur le centre de son visage, entre la lèvre supérieure et le milieu du front. Une réalisation sobre, brute et percutante, ne laissant pas le spectateur de marbre. Ce travail artistique s’inscrit dans la continuité de sa série Scratching the Surface, s’appliquant à dépeindre des individus anonymes sur les murs du monde entier.
