We are very happy to share this new mural hand spraypainted by Jim Vision last week in London, England. Located in the heart of Banglatown Jim returns to one of his favourite local spots to paint stunning new 21 metre long mural.
Working on a project like this for Marvel Studios has been a long time goal for the London based artist who grew up reading comics and bases much of his personal ‘fun’ personal artwork on fantastical scenes by his mentors and hero’s like Joe Madureira, Simon Bisley, Ashley Wood, Simon Davies, Rufus Dayglo and many more. See some of these attached to this post.
The wall is painted to high definition in huge scale, the diminutive stars feature at larger than life scale and the wall features a set of beautiful mechanical wasp wings at it’s centre. Allowing the viewer and visitors to really feel a part of the mural.
This is a promotional piece but one with real passion behind it. You can tell from the beautiful paintwork and the details that Vision has taken the time to apply. The work took 5 days, which really in the grand scheme of pieces by Jim is a long time. The painter is known for his fast painting technique and ability to cover large-spaces in a short time.
If you happen to be in Brick Lane, or near Spitalfields Market, the Truman Brewery, Whitechapel or Shoreditch then it’s well worth the short walk down Hanbury street to see the wall in person whilst it’s still in site.
